God Will Provide
Genesis 22:1–19 · story film

As they went up, Isaac carried the wood and asked, “Where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” and Abraham answered, “God will provide himself a lamb.” At the altar the angel of the LORD called out of heaven to stop him, and God provided a ram caught in a thicket in the stead of his son; long after, God gave His own Son, Jesus, the Lamb of God (John 1:29; Romans 8:32).
Big idea: God provides what we need, and He gave Jesus, the Lamb, for us.
Memory verse:

The Serpent of Brass
Numbers 21:4–9 · story film
On the long way around the land of Edom the people grew discouraged and spoke against God and against Moses, and fiery serpents came among them and bit them. When they said, “We have sinned,” Moses prayed, and God told him to make a serpent of brass and set it upon a pole, and everyone who was bitten and looked at it lived. Jesus said that, as Moses lifted up the serpent, He too must be lifted up on the cross, so that whoever believes in Him should have eternal life (John 3:14–15).
Big idea: Look to Jesus and live: He was lifted up on the cross to save us.
Memory verse:
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
